The Elwood and Carolyn Doss Fund
The Elwood and Carolyn Doss Fund is the Sigma Psi specific philanthropy. Through the memory of the late Carolyn Doss and for the dedication of our still actively participating founding charter member Elwood Doss, this fund was put in place as a testament to their devotion to musical and philanthropic ideas that are held by Phi Mu Alpha. With the fund Sigma Psi is able to assist in local music programs via instruments, supplies, scholarships, and needs. The Sigma Psi chapter has worked with musical development in the Martin Housing Authority and through this fund has been able to bring music to places where music is needed. The Elwood and Carolyn Doss Fund gives Sigma Psi an opportunity to give back to the surrounding community through the joy of music.
Phi Mu Alpha All-Sing
Phi Mu Alpha-Sigma Psi hosts an annual competition as a fundraiser for our philanthropy The Elwood and Carolyn Doss Fund. Organizations on UT-Martin's campus compete for awards in an array of categories such as: Mixed Greek, Sorority, and Fraternity. This fundraiser gives other students on campus an opportunity to experience the joy of music.
